Mahakaal Jyotirlinga - mystery of time Part 3

Image
We live in this changing present in which Devi unfolds the future continuously. Whatever is happening is confined to an infinitesimally narrow point on the time line which is being encroached upon by the past and the future. This is the union of Shiv – Shiva. They both exist in union in present. Bhootnath and Devi both exist together in the present moment. Bhootnath keeps killing the existing moment and Devi keeps giving another moment. This process continues and is termed as Kaalchakra or cycle of time. The experience thus produced is called Life. So, we know that the flow created with the union of Shiv-Shiva is Kaal. Then papa what is Mahakaal? He asked. Very simple. Let me ask you some questions. What do you call yourself in sanskrit? ‘Aham’, he said. Right, Hope you will agree that the time as per you at the centre is Kaal. This is time flow as perceived, as experienced by you. Let me share another aspect with you before asking my next qu...

Okay, so to understand those hidden secrets, we must be prepared to dwell a bit deeper. I paused and tried to gaze, if they are tired with day long visit or are ready to explore more. To my surprise Ayush, my son replied, we are ready. Please share. So, my question is what is Kaal? Its time, he said. A realisation of changing experience. So, Time is a real phenomenon a continuous change through which we live. now tell me how does this change in experience happens? About a hundred years ago, Einstein’s theories of Special and General relativity introduced the concept of slowing of time with motion and in gravity.  Einstein showed that large masses curve space and there is increase in mass with acceleration by application of a force. These discoveries by Einstein gives clues to understand time better. Let me share a story of Shiv Shiva. Shiv has another name as Bhootnath. Bhoot in Sanskrit means past. So, he is lord of past. How does he perform his act of ...

It was our second day at Ujjain after Mahakaal darshan. We could get chance to visit a few important spots in Ujjain like Kaal Bhairav, Sandeepani Ashram and others. Shri Krishna after conquering Kansa was sent to Guru Sandeepan for his education. He came to Ujjain and stayed with his Guru for some time to start divine plans as Avtar. Kaal Bhairav is also a living spot, where Bhairav accepts wine and consumes any amount of it. This is surprising yet could be seen here. Ujjain is has many such miraculous places that hardly fits into our logic but obviously raises many questions. A curious mind will search for answers and will settles with a faith in GOD on not being able to get one. He agrees to a fact that there exist something that is behind these unexplainable natural miracles and the world names it GOD. Ujjain has Kaal Bhairav, Mahakaal. Why so many God of Kaal at Ujjain? Why did Shri Krishna visited Ujjain, when he had experienced ultimat...
