Mahakaal Jyotirlinga - mystery of time Part 2
Okay,
so to understand those hidden secrets, we must be prepared to dwell a bit
deeper.
I
paused and tried to gaze, if they are tired with day long visit or are ready to
explore more. To my surprise Ayush, my son replied, we are ready. Please share.
So,
my question is what is Kaal?
Its
time, he said. A realisation of changing experience.
So,
Time is a real phenomenon a continuous change through which we live. now tell
me how does this change in experience happens?
About
a hundred years ago, Einstein’s theories of Special and General relativity
introduced the concept of slowing of time with motion and in gravity.
Einstein showed that large masses curve space and there is increase in
mass with acceleration by application of a force. These discoveries by Einstein
gives clues to understand time better.
Let
me share a story of Shiv Shiva. Shiv has another name as Bhootnath. Bhoot in
Sanskrit means past. So, he is lord of past. How does he perform his act of
creation of past?
He
pulls the present moment and kills it. It remains a part of memory and hence is
called Bhootnath.
Shiva
or Devi is the mother, she is progeny. She keeps delivering lots of new opportunities,
possibilities. This fulfils our present moment. She is the future. She is so
beautiful and attractive that everyone keeps looking forward to his future.
In
management terms understanding future is called Vision, it could be objective,
goal and ambition in life. She drives crazy and in yog this state is called Moha.
There
exist an infinitesimal moment as a gift to live, feel and experience the
existence, it’s the present moment. We interact with the world in this present
moment that is killed by Bhootnath and becomes our memories, a part of the
past.
