Celebrations......
Janamashtmi- A festival of celebrations
Hare rama hare rama, rama rama hare hare.
Hare krishna hare krishna, krishna krishna hare hare
Hare krishna hare krishna, krishna krishna hare hare
He was dancing like flowing in some emotions. smile on the lips, simplicity in eyes, very flexible body movements as if he is physical manifestation of these lovely lines....
Hare rama hare rama, rama rama hare hare.
Hare krishma hare krishna, krishna krishna hare hare
This mantra is so powerful that even holding back is not possible and I was also feeling to standup and join the dance but some internal pull, hesitation, shame.....don't know what but some thing was holding me back.
Am sure, if you also sing these lines, you will also feel like letting all the holding go loose....accept the inner voice and its plan.....just let the inner energy vibration....come on the body and let body follow these inner flows.....like the way he was dancing or flowing with his energy...
It's so divine. Eveything related to Krishna is so Lovely and miraculous... he is celebration itself... My mind was overworking, but suddenly seen into the eyes of Radha's idol. Her eyes were sparkling with some play-plan..
I was now wondering that now he was flowing effortlessly with this divine mantra as if he is not there but in the morning he was teaching me on the intricacies of Krishna upasana.
It so happened that in the morning, we were sitting in a room along with few guests and had some queries to which he was responding, sharing about Krishna, Janmashtami, Radha....
He was sharing that Krishna is arrival of spiritualilty in myself. Kansa is my driver in this materialistic world but there comes a time when nature allows its doors for universal grace to flow spontaneously into our existance. This universal grace is Krishna and it needs to be immediatley moved from its birth place else is absorbed in the head itself. Kansa tries to be ever vigilant to save him. If he losses a moment to Krishna, he dies and this precisely happens on Janmashtami - the real me finishes false me or my ego.
Krishna is the centre of Akarshan (attraction) and we have only one part inside our body that attracts us most and that pulls our focus. Its an attention seeker, and is like a child. Do you know which part I am referring to?
yes, its Agya Chakra or third eye - I replied.
Absolutely. Agya Chakra pulls our attention and we could simply notice this as it keeps weaving dreams, thoughts and doesn't leave any iota of second without pulling attention towards itself.
This attraction seeker point pulls everythig towards itself and hence is the centre of attraction. In this centre of Akarshan (attraction), we find Krishna as the basis of this attraction.
In these rare moments of Janmashtami, the universal violet energy etners crown spiraling to reach Devki situated below hypothalamus in the brain. Its here that this universal energy is processed into a human format and Agya chakra releases it on Janmashtami.
I was curious but it was not very clear to me hence commented...... OK, but tell me what is the significance of Janmashtami?
Well! you know existance is a harmony in opposites. This harmony brings a state of dynamic balance of opposite forces. This state of balance is like a point in the state of transition. The point that could move either side of the transition. This state remains for a shortest time and in that particular fraction of time a natural grace connect with the God - the universal energy - Shri Narayan.
Could you explain it a bit more to make it more clear?, I asked.
Janmashtami as the word suggests is related to Ashtami. Ashtami is the eigth state of Moon in Lunar transition. Ashtami is so very important as it is the balanced state, almost central to the fifteen days lunar cycle. Another important aspect of Ashtami is that lunar proportions are same for Ashtami in both the Paksh - Shukla & Krishna. Its a unique state and in full harmony across various Lunar tithis and paksh (waxing and waning cycles).
so, Janmashtami is in a perfect lunar balance, I said.
Hold on, there is more to come. Janmashtami is much more auspicious. You know, it falls in Bhadrapad month of Indian calendar. It's the sixth month in twelve month cycle of Solar system.
Now, consider rotation of earth that forms day and night. Krishna's birth time is at 12, just at the turning moment between day and night time.
so, be it Sun, Moon or Earth....Janmashtami signifies the harmony point during transition.
There is another important dimension, Vedas have spoken about Nitya Sandhyas. The fifth and the most critical sandhya is the time for incarnation - Krishna avtaar.
So, Krishna comes in a harmony of infinite pairs of possible opposites. There is a Maa (mother) to facing all pain to give him birth and there is a MaMa (maternal uncle) ready to immediately kill him.
Janmashtami is very divine, its the time of spontaneous birth of our spirituality and hence these moments of self delivery at Agya is very critical. This discussion of ours continued over an hour and we learnt technical aspects as he kept on sharing those small -small details of how we could learn this art of knowing about this Janam in us and then use Vasudev to flow this child from Agya to other centres of existance so that it could grow and guide entire existance.
This art cannot be explained in words alone, its to be felt, its to be experienced and I am glad that I could learn these techniques to experience. Its catching the very fine graceful universal moment for us. This calls for a timely preparedness and hence for that we should understand these nitigritties from Shri Guru......
Wishing a Happy Krishna Janmashtami.... an event of celebration, enjoyment and happiness.....
Krishna is soul of all the souls and hence Celebrate arrival of your own spirituality, eternity, divinity.
He was in front of me and still flowing in the dance with bhajan mantra going on....
Hare rama hare rama, rama rama hare hare.
Hare krishna hare krishna, krishna krishna hare hare
