Mystries of the flute - part III

Now the question comes is that what do we understand from Radha Krishna getting unified.

Let’s start from basics. The world is full of trinity or triads. The basic structure that could sustain itself is a Triangle, a triad. Our senses operate on the basis of triads. We see, hear, smell, touch, feel or whatever is sensed or done in the world for sustenance of life - all that exists in triads. Triads are so very important in our life that we live and engage only because of these triads.

We could see triads all around us. Be with me now and notice these triads, for instance seeing process involves Seer, Seen and Seeing or for that matter hearing process involves listener, sound source and listening. Similarly, lighting fire needs combustible substance, Oxygen or air and ignition temperature. We could notice that our world is all these triads around us. These three together are referred to as Tripur in Sanskrit. Till these three Puras or three parts are not together we will not have that complete experience. This simply means if seen is not there, what we will see or if seer is not there then who will see. Similarly, if seer and seen are there but the seeing is missing then also there is no sight possible. This is the glory of Tripur.

Anyone who would have read through Puranas, would have noticed the importance of Tripur. The shakti behind these Tripur is termed as Tripura. This Tripura is worshipped as goddess in Tantra.

The entire world is seen as an illusion by great saints like Shakracharya. They have seen that when one is distant from self, he lands into a state called Sushupti, then further down he reaches into state of dreams and then into this world. So this world is another end of that consciousness which has self on one end and world on the other. Therefore this world is illusion. This illusionary world is sometimes referred to as Maya in Sanskrit.

The research in India for thousands of years had revealed that Maya is Tripura. Shri Krishna had explained this principle in Gita by mentioning about the gist of these three or triad by talking about the basic three Gunas. These three are Sat, Raj and Tam and forms Triguna... He talks about this Trigunatmak world.

Tantra worships these Triguna as Devi and believes Devi is Saguna herself.

If we keenly observe the world around we will be fascinated that this world is completely Tripura and is ever changing making it new every fraction of second. This changing beauty is like a dance of the nature around us. The loveliest nature that is enabling life form to exist. It’s so beautiful that enlightened call it Tripur Sundari.

Shri Krishna had eight very close friends in Raas, these gopis are referred to as Asht Sakhis and Lalita Devi is one of them. Devi Lalita is also referred to as Lalita Tripur Sundari. She initiates Raas Leela as she is the basic instinct and is the strongest form of energy.  Once the Raas is achieved then she acts as a guard for Nikunj Leela of Radha Krishna.

She holds everything outside while inside it’s a pure world of Radha where Krishna is with her. She Loves him in so many ways, so many forms that the boundaries break and they become one. It becomes difficult to identify Krishna and Radha separately. She Loves in so many ways that there is nothing fixed and hence the flute gets merged or handed over to Radha. She plays it in many-many forms.

This play is visualized by yogis as a play of me in myself - a play within oneself where the other is not required. This state is referred to as Unified state or Adwait.

Once realized then there is no need of any flute or holding back in Vrindavan as all this loses its significance.

Radha and Krishna are one at the level of existence. Each breath was connection between the two and alterantes between Radha and Krishna as two poles of it.
