Lets go back to exploring our questions on what’s in the flute for me? How one could utilize this learning on the flute? When is flute not required?

Let’s address the last query first. There are two ways to travel across these points. A guru plays and Pupil learns by this demonstartion or pupil puts in efforts and learns the hardway. These two could be referred to as travelling from point no 3 to point no 1 and from point no 1 to point no 3. These process are Laya Kriya or Srijan Kriya. These process try to follow the nature’s process to reach the ultimate reality of self.

Srijan Kriya reverses the process after realization at point no 3 and if one comes back to the initial level then one will be full of karuna or grace for the world. This state one is fully realized and this state at point no 3 includes the other two points and could continue endlessly till ones desire.

Shri Krishna was doing Leela to demonstrate us the way to live, the path to the truth. He reaches the last state of Raas Leela where he was present in this world with overflowing grace. His presence is blessing for this world. He was arrived in his life, there was no path left for him to travel. He became flute and hence there was no need of any flute for him.

This was the state where flute merged and unified in him and was not required separately. He was beyond the flute, it reached level of existence and hence was getting played on its own. Shri Krishna handed over the flute to Radha and left Vrindavan.

Now, back to the first two queries…..We could see that blowing is very important else playing with notes will also not deliver anything. One needs to know the right way of blowing then only music will be produced.

The second process of playing with notes is also very important step and is referred as various sadhanas in yoga, tantra, etc. In Mantra yoga its named as Akshmala. It becomes Mundmala Vidhan in Tantra. Yoga calls it Shatchakra Jagran, etc.  These are such steps that need only blessings of the Guru. Guru keeps a keen eye on the disciple and then directs him. Gurus grace is a must for successful completion of this step. Therefore this step should be learnt from a Guru directly. These are very simple processes yet very complicated because of the complexities in us. I could assure you that once the second process is realized, life changes and we doesn’t remain the same old person.

Blowing is a typical process of pushing air into the flute. It’s our breath that we push into the flute and our breath is core to blowing of our internal flute. Its a very simple process in yog and one could learn it by carefully observing breath of a child. A child lives in his own bliss, he enjoys anything and everything as the source of bliss or enjoyment is found inside himself. Child breaths holistically, his whole of the existence inhales and exhales.
