Secrets of Mahamrityunjaya mantra – A divine path Part 6

Therefore, there are three parts of this internal alchemy – Opening of doors, nectarisation and revitalizing of concerned parts.

Mahamrityunjaya is that form of Shiv sitting at the crown in a pool of nectar. The three eyed Shiv is white in complexion with four hands. He is sitting in Padmasana on a lotus in the mid of this pool. He holds pots in all the four hands and every time two of the hands are filling nectar from the pool and the other two hands pours the nectar on top of his head. This way he keeps feeling happy and continues enjoying bathing with nectar. He is ever smiling and glowing with light that oozes out of his body.

The three seeds of mantra activates this centre in crown chakra and Mrityunjaya Shiv initiates the process followed with nectar flowing down from the top into the spine.

This fires the next level of activation. The flow starts going downward opening several doors in the spine.

The next question follows is that what are these doors? What is their importance?

These doors are junctures in the spinal column with thousands of nerves connections. These are very important as these nerves are sensory and motor in function. Their activity will lead to proper functioning of the connected body part.

One could see the picture below that shows linkages of various body parts with a particular portion of spinal column.

Let’s find how many such doors are there?
