Rudraksh – mystical seed holding secrets of Shiv upasana. Part 4
Aksha is also a sanskrit word and means eye or axis. If we analayse our sight, we could observe very clearly that eyes could see whatever comes in their axis of vision. We see from the eye and the object in the sight is along an axis of vision. This axis is the one that holds the secret to seeing. These three - seer, the seen and the seeing are on this axis that has fire on one end and hence is termed Rudraksh.
Axis needs more clarity…he said.
The eye and its axis that are important for the vision are referred here as Aksha.
If you recall we are able to see when a ray of light hits a body and on reflection enters eye through ratina. The image is created in retina and we are able to see. As the light travels straight, so this reflected ray is moves along an axis connecting the object and the eye and hence this is the Aksha.
Hope you would have got this…
Yep!
But, now comes the hidden part. Don’t you agree that there is an object seen by the seer or the subject due to presence of a process of seeing or vision. These three are a must for Vision.
In the above scenario, object is there as seen and subject is the seer. The light along the axis holds the key to seeing. It connects the two to enable the process of seeing.
The three are seer, seen and seeing. These three are Rudra or fire of an object that is seen, by eye of the subject along the axis of seeing. This way Rudraksh is the process of seeing the energy body of anything with a capable eye of ours along the axis.
Just note that the challenge in this state is that how does we unify all the three so that we reach a state of Adwait or unity. The solution is that the gap between the seer and the seen gets finished and then the process remains. This is state of a realised or enlightened person.
Now, this needs some more clarity? He said.
Right, understand that life exists in triads be it anything. Listening process needs sound, listener and process of listening. Just recall we studied about combustion. It needs combustible substance, combustion medium (oxygen) and ignition temperature.
This scheme of traids is explained in great detail in ShrimadBhagwadGita by Shri Krishna as Sat-Raj-Tam.
The Goddess of these triads as per Tantra is Shodasi Tripur Sundari Mahavidya. These three are the basic three Gunas or qualities. This state of existence is termed as Sagun. The ultimate goal is to jump from this illussion created by sagun to a state of Nirgun.
Therefore, to jump out from the triads to the one combined, complete state. Which is nothing else but reaching the self. It is possible if you are able to jump out of these three into that one.
Rudraksh holds the secret to jump from illussion to the real self.
Rudraksh is that united state realised as self.
