Need of this generation - secret of internal balancing

We met Abhimanyu, a few days back at Chandigarh. He is brilliant, having clarity of mind and working on few abstract projects in mathematics though he is doing his Electrical Engineering. He had so much of commitment for the research that he started missing out on taking care of his body, which resulted into a lean frame and very low body weight.

He is a bright engineering student, devoted to his research.
We discussed with him and advised on taking care of his health but like any other youth … he continued the way he was doing. He was using all the energy generated in the body in directing it to the brain for thinking and analyzing. This was actually fascinating for him and he was expecting desired results from his work.

To me, this is an attitude of a devotee but as elders we need to guide and bring such talents to a state of balance as they have very high potential that could contribute big to the society.

The challenge of these people is that they get admired with their perception. They start using their brain excessively to analyse complex situations that results in development of the brain. This increases brains requirement for more nourishment, for more energy which leaves very less energy for the body.

This is a general problem now, post industrialization logic got overemphasized and rest of the body especially heart got ignored. This left over strained brains resulting in so many problems. This state of imbalance between our thinking and emotional heart has disturbed personality and one is not able to get best out of his heart – mind synchronization. Abhimanyu’s case was beyond this as he was missing on the whole body.

Lamarck’s theory of evolution has one of the suggestions on ‘use and disuse’. When some part is over used, it develops newer capabilities but the other parts should also be getting their share of life force else they start losing their shine. Therefore, a balanced approach is required, which may seem to be difficult to follow as the fascination of resolving the puzzle keeps attracting us in the brain. Therefore, an alternate solution is also required to ensure that all body parts are able to function properly.

When we search for an answer in Indian tradition, we find many such techniques that could actually help in this endeavor. One such alternate is a technique that have three pronged approach which keeps us healthy and still we are able to use higher possibilities of our brain and body…to understand the mysteries of this nature closely.

Before, understanding this alternate, let’s dwell deep into its three steps…

The first and the foremost secret is that we don’t store our energy. It comes and goes…so, ensure storing so much of energy that even if brain takes a large part of it, still sufficient is available for other parts. We breathe and eat food that helps our body produce energy for our everyday use. There is a divine technique to connect with this universal source of energy to get large supplies so that we are able to use it and able to store it also. This is possible but we will have to take shelter in Shiva’s grace to strengthen our Pran – life force.

The second fact that should be clearly understood is that we need to move away from brain, from the head and the best alternate is to skid down into the gut brain. This helps in managing the attraction of upper brain in working towards resolution of the complex puzzles. Gut brain is more balanced and as we are distant from the upper brain’s push-pull, we could consciously decide when to go to the upper brain for thinking and analysis and when to avoid this pull and carry on with other important aspects of our life.

The third critical part of this technique is to strengthen all other parts, so that they are able to produce their juices – enzymes, hormones for sustaining a healthy life and a body that could hold a healthy and bright brain, which could help in such fine analysis that could unfold the mysteries to us.

All these three parts require some discipline, determination for some activity… that’s all.

So, why not go in for taking a plunge into this practice and enjoy the advantage of being able to resolve bigger and more complex problems in a better and shortest route.

We know a fit person could focus and perform better, so the focus should be on remaining fit and then exposing to the research work. A fit, happy and concentrated mind will deliver better results in shortest of time.

So, what do we need to do then…a simple routine that will take care of all these requirements…Use Panchakshri mantra for storing energy and bringing your mind to the gut brain… Do simple Sukshma yogic kriya to keep the body organs fit and performing.
Panchakshri technique is a simple technique, in which all elemental strengthening takes place and finally their nectar merges back into our center.

This is a divine process and finds mention of stories in Puranas - Shivbhakt Ravan had nectar stored in his Nabhi (Navel) and lost to Ram only when Ram infused fire to burn that nectar…Bhishm Pitamah had held it in his breath and hence was free to decide his time of departure from life.

This simple process requires a dedicated disciplined practice for holding so much of nectar in store that whenever any problem is faced this nectar is sufficient to handle that. This simple process is also called Panchakshri Kriya (to understand Panchakshri and its importance in our body/ existence, pls. read Mahakaal : Secerts of Panchakshri sadhana). It’s a simple act that could be followed daily for storing the energy.

Each element spirals and condenses into its chakras center (this is Laya Kriya) and holds its soul in the Sushumna Nadi. On a next event, souls of these different chakras start falling into the AdyaShakti – the eternal energy center of ours. This condensed energy is stored and is available to our body and mind.

Whenever our body requires this energy, it’s released from this center and passes through Kand (spot having 72000 nadi connections) to reach specific parts of our body, giving them the desired strength to fight the odds against life. This is the way it helps in sustaining life.

It’s a blessing and fortune to know this simple practice as it has many practical aspects that will require a guru’s supervision and hence one should learn this divine practice from their Guru, however to experience its basic advantage, would suggest that one could go to a temple and bathe Shiv Ling and Shiv Parivar with water or milk. Ensure reciting Panchakshri Mantra while bathing Shiv Ling with water. It will connect the flow completing energy cycle and will cool your mind and emotions…

Practice is the key to experiencing a healthy life, and hence practice Panchakshri Kriya to bring back balance in life.
