Mathematics of Spirituality Part 6

It was Bharat who asked Ram for his Paduka. The concept is not understood at that time also by most, that he asked Ram in another form. Bharat didn't settle for less then Ram. Its so powerful that he enjoyed Rajdharam and sanyas simultaneously without getting effected by Karm bandhan (bondage).

This 15 was such a miraculous number that it was noticed that such 15 different unions were observed between Sun and Moon creating 15 different Moon phases at Earth. We notice this as movement of time and hence Indian calendar month consists of two Paksh or fortnights of Moon phases. Two phases of Moon waning and waxing.

If we dig deeper entire Nityarchana is on the basis of these Nityas.
This magical number 15 got so much of importance that Devi Lalita is worshiped with her Panchdashi Mantra. This divine Mantra or the codified message is referred to as Panchdashi. Which means 15.

It got a yantra form. A form that creates its impact like a machine but depends on how we use this machine. This yantra is called Pandrahiya Yantra. Which means a yantra of number 15. In this yantra additions of any three numbers across a straight line or diagonally adds to a total of 15. This conveys a sense that panchdasi remains irrespective of which cardinal one heads for.

The beauty of this yantra is that it brings out another key concept of Asht Matrikas of Shri Vidya. The 8 directions in which the sum remains 15 are the positions of 8 Matrika or Mother form of energy. A Hindu Sadhak will know the importance of this number 8. Be it Asht Lakshmi or 8 Lakshmis; or it could be Asht Vagdevis or 8 Saraswati and Asht Matrikas or 8 Motherly forms.

In Shri Vidya, its again looked upon from the emotions level. Devi is Bhaav priya and hence Bhaav have the key importance in association with her. We could observe that at home in our wife, daughter, mother, sister or girl friend. they are so emotional. Sgri Yantra founds the concept of emotional intelligence and hence the 8 chakras our of 9, as ninth is Mahabindu or union of everything. We find these 8 are the emotional powers of Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moha, Mad, Matsar and Paap and Punya. These 8 are embodied in 8 mother forms, who reside in second layer of Bhupur. These are called Asht Matrikas.

In Raas Leela, they are the asht Sakhi of Shri Krishna. They are the begining point of MahaRaas. Each of them creates a Bhairavi Chakra and then perfects in union with Shri Krishna, till radha and Krishna enters Nikunj Leela.
