Kundalini Jagran: Secrets you should know Part 2

After a short pause, he again asked - Don’t know, why there is so much of hype on Kundalini Jagran?
He was looking relaxed after venting out something that was boiling for sometime inside him.
We finished our dinner and started walking towards the Sangam (union of the two great rivers).
He again asked, could you  tell me what is there in Kundalini Jagran that people are not able to understand even-when I am trying to explain them about other sadhnas?

I glanced deep into his eyes - the anguish had gone and he was receptive now…

Well, Kundalini is the most spoken and discussed part of Yog and Tantra and there had been Yogis, who had taught world about it. This word of mouth about the role of Kundalini sadhna in our enlightenment, the luring stories associated with the miraculous powers one gains after Kundalini Jagran and various other reasons made it most followed phenomenon. This importance of Kundalini Jagran followed with marketing of Kundalini concepts had made it so attractive that people are travelling and coming in search of a Guru.
They are looking for a guru, who could do Shaktipat for their Kundalini Jagran.

May be you are right, but then what do you think about Kundalini? He asked.

I started Laughing as I could understand where he was going.

To me, Kundalini is raising your Atma (Soul) energy to a level where its able to unite with its counterpart and create a Sahasrabhishek to bless us by taking us to immortality or say ever youthful state. The final stage is transformation of Mrityu into Amrit… Mritormam Amritam gamaya….

Shri Krishna has mentioned in BhagwadGita that we are like a tree, which is upside down. He had said….

urdhva-mulam adhah-sakham, asvattham prahur avyayam
chandamsi yasya parnani, yas tam veda sa veda-vit

He says that there is a banyan tree which has its roots upward and its branches down; whose leaves are the Vedic hymns. One who knows this, is knower of the Vedas.

Now, just read this again….urdhva-mulam adhah-sakham….

Simply it means that the roots are in the head or above and branches are the entire body, organs, etc. This clearly highlights what has been explained in Bindu Yog also. Tantra talks about germination of this tree as Bindu bhedanam happens. This Bindu - head germinates and we are created.
